Hello everyone, Tim Jackson here from JJ&S Environmental Services, welcoming October as we head into the year's final stretch.

One thing we see regularly is that the abatement itself is only part of the work. A site may need additional preparation before we can begin, or work may need to happen afterward before restoration or reconstruction can move forward.

This month, we’re highlighting these Beyond Abatement services and how JJ&S can take on more of the work surrounding an abatement project. For our partners, that can mean fewer crews to coordinate and a simpler transition from one phase of the job to the next.

A recent success case is our work at Pomona Unified School District, where our team completed a large-scale lead and asbestos abatement project. Projects like this show why early environmental planning matters. Proper containment, documentation, trained crews, and clear coordination help keep commercial projects organized, safe, and on schedule.

This demonstrates that successful abatement involves much more than the work performed on-site. It requires careful planning, clear communication, complete documentation, and a team prepared to manage every requirement from start to finish.
